I am not a happy camper with OPT metal polish (new formula)

I used the new formula for the 3rd time today with the same results every time. I end up using the original formula to do the job right. The original is easier to work with IMO and leaves a dramatically better shine. I am upset that Dr.G ditched the old formula for this! I will be stocking up on the original formula!

    Sorry no pics.

I love the old formula, and am dying to try the new one, what differences r u finding? I wouldn't think optimum wouldn't go in reverse bringing out a new product, is it easy of on and off and shine only?

The new formula may be slightly easier to work with, but the original wasnt a pain to work with so no real improvement IMO.

Skipping all of the little stuff, what really sticks about the new formula is that it doesnt finish as well. You can work the original longer before it flashes and it leaves a dramatically better shine.

I will try to get some pics today.

Weird i heard it was supposed to work quicker and finish down even better, I'd love to see some pics, so I can decide how much of the old formula I might need to stock up on! I'll probably still try the new stuff since that's just how I am lol

    Hi Premium

Im sorry to hear of your disappointment. The new metal polish should cut faster and finish better than the original. The new is thinner and was created so that you can get similar results by hand that you would normally get only by machine. If you have shaken it well and used it on a couple of surfaces with a couple different applicators to eliminate variants, feel free to PM me for a replacement or a refund pending the return of the unused portion.

Anybody's new formula separate out in the bottle? I talked to Chris and he advised me to shake the heck out of it and use it.

I have shaken the heck out of it but I have a blue solid at the bottom that will not mix back in. If this is normal, I'm okay with that but if no one else is experiencing this I will take Chris up on his offer to replace it.

mine separates but goes back to normal when i shake it. I'm a little concerned because this is my first metal polish and i have nothing to compare it to. I waited for it to come out instead of getting the old one on bogo.
