My first impressions of Diamondite Crystal Gloss Surface Protectant.
I have it on three test vehicles
#1 Honda Element LSP DP MaxWax
#2 Dodge Ram pickup LSP DP Poli-Coat
#3 Harley Street Glide LSP Fourstar UPP
Application
Goes on very easy, a little goes a long way.
The sprayer on this is awesome, produces a very fine mist and puts out just the right amount.
The Smell is a very pleasant Grape.
No streaking and very easy to spread and polish to a slick shine!
WOW, This stuff is SLICK! It added slickness to all of the above LSP's
It's not marketed as a QD but as a protectant. But for now I'll reach for it before FK 425.
Results so far
The Harley is the only field test I have so far. I have it on the faring and the windshield. During a short ride I noticed the bugs would hit and fly off leaving very little behind. After the ride any bugs that did stick were easily cleaned with DP Plexall and a clean MF, then a new application of Diamondite Crystal Gloss Surface Protectant was added.
This is one of those products that is a pleasure to use and you go looking for things to try it on.
The Ram is going on a long road trip over Labor Day so those results will follow. I'm going to try and get an application on the front of my fifth-wheel before the trip but it will have to stop raining.
This stuff beads rain well too!
I think this is the slickest spray sealant, QD type product I have used...I don't have WG spritz sealant but I do have Z6 and Z8 and IMHO it is slicker than them.
This is a product that is hidden in product line that should not be limited to bug protection.....I'll reach for it over FK 425 for sure.
Did I mention this stuff is SLICK?
CONS
Hard to come up with any.....only available in 16oz size would be the only thing I can come up with for now....a gallon refill to make it more economical would be on my shelf.
I wanted to get this up before my weekend trip! More results to follow...........
