Review: DP Rinseless Wash & Gloss
Condition for Exterior:
The exterior is well maintained. Just needed a clean up after a rain and some bugs on the front.
This was my first time using a no rinse product. I have always used a hose to wash my vehicles, this seemed like a nice alternative when its not real dirty but to dirty for a QD.
I used the two bucket method.
One bucket with grit guard, 2-3 gallons of water and 2 oz DP rinsless
1 bucket with grit guard and clear water.
microfiber wash mit
2 waffle weave mf towel
Pros of DP:
The smell is bubble gum sent.
Cleans well, removed light dirt and bugs from the front with ease.
Easy to use.
Saves water, who doesnt like a lower water bill?
The shine it left was amazing! It looked as if I just applied a coat of wax.
This product have several other uses as well
water conditioner
Quick detailer
pad conditioner
clay lube
Cons:
I have a little concern with it introduction swirls. My wash mit got pretty dirty. Being as I have always used car shampoo it seems doing it the traditional way your mit gets cleaned as you go in the soap solution. With no rinse the dirt gets trapped in the mit.
Over all Im happy with this product. As I said the shine it left was incredible. Next time I will try my lambs wool mit or a different microfiber that I have.
Im really looking forward to trying this product as a QD.

I have never used a rinseless wash but just recently bought the DP Rinseless. I am wondering since you used the 2 bucket method why didn't your mitt get rinsed in the rinse bucket just like it should have if using a shampoo? Or is it because you rinse your mitt with hose before the rinse bucket?

I did rinse in the bucket, then ring out, then gather new wash solution, but the dirt really seemed to stay in the mit. Without the enzymes and soap, the mit doesnt come clean.

I prefer The Bone (MF covered sponge).
Either way, I believe Grit Guards are essential for rinseless washing.

The LC blue sponge is what I use with the DP RW&G. It works great. I now use it with my regular washes as well, that's how much I like it.

the Grit Gard should have given the ability to rub off the mitt from any loose dirt and contaminents.

Re: Review: DP Rinseless Wash & Gloss
I did a ONR and had the exact same issue. A single sponge is not a good idea for a rinseless.
Even with vigorous scrubbing on the grit guard, the dirt stayed on the mitts "fingers".
I think multiple MF towels/sponges would be a better way to go instead of a single sponge.
