1Z-einsett works well, and thats water based. I'll have to do some experimentation.

I am curious how this compares to Pinnacle Black Onyx? I love the nice sheen you get with it and never seems to spin off.

I used to use a spray bottle. It is so thick I put it into one of the new AG Yorker style bottles (i.e., ketchup bottle) and apply it directly on to a Griots free rotating applicator. I find this method less messy. Keep your applicator in a zip lock bag . Opti Bond is a PITA to clean off applicators,but is worth the trouble.

Like you I keep the applicator in a zip lock bag and when the applicatior wears or is too dirty, I just toss it. Not worth the trouble to clean.

I use this stuff only now and it looks great. I don't dilute it though, but yours doesn't look too bad though!
