Re: Einszett Cockpit Classic -- Quick Review

nice review, Scott, I was wondering about this product...I love Cockpit premium so much, I have a 10 liter jug of it...that should last for quite a while...

    Great write-up, Scott!

Do you find that Cockpit Premium and Cockpit Classic protect the finish? I never found anything mentioning UV protection or any type of finish left behind; it seems like it is strictly a cleaner so hopefully someone can clarify this. Otherwise, I can contact 1Z to get a clear answer.

I have used Cockpit Premium plenty in the past and do like the results it gives. But I usually follow with something like 303 as I was under the impression that CP did not leave behind any UV protection.

On 1Z's website, they DO state it leaves UV protection. I dont know HOW MUCH, or where on the scale it is to 303, but at least its SOMETHING.

Gotcha, thanks for posting that information!

I really wasn't sure since it leaves such a no-gloss finish that it seems like nothing is left behind. I do love the finish it leaves...having a no-gloss dash with UV protection is perfect in my book.

I had emailed them sometime ago and also got the word there is "some" UV protection. But for best UV protection, use their Vinyl Dressing which is designed for outside use too and sounds more similar in design/function to 303.
