Iron Remover product cost spreadsheet
I had a little spare time today and put together a spreadsheet showing cost per ounce of iron removers.
Lowest cost is potentially the DUB wheel cleaner depending on what actual retail cost ends up at. Next lowest is Sonax 10 L.
Most expensive is AMMO Plum (can someone confirm the size is actually 16oz?) followed by pretty much everything that's $19.99 for 500 ml.
As should be expected, the larger containers offer quite a bit of savings. Griots is the exception with the 35 oz being close in price to the larger containers per ounce, but the griots sprayer puts out twice as much as the other sprayers, so one could argue the cost per trigger pull is about the same.
I would like to keep this current, so if people know of a particular cleaner I missed or if there are corrections, I can make a change. All prices are based on full price at AG as of today.
Note that this is also specific to RTU products as I felt iron-x paste and soap gel might muddy the waters a bit.

Awesome job bro! Thanks for taking the time!
I always have said Sonax can be had for cheap...throw in a good sale at 15-20% off and free shipping, It can be had for virtually Walmart wheel cleaner prices.
And to be consistent, a gallon of Adams Deep Wheel Cleaner would make it .62 per oz....one of the lowest on the list.

That's a really good deal. That ends up being $0.3125 per oz. The winner of the list.
I have another one to add to the list: AQuartz Iron Cut Remover - 250 ml ($6.99). I picked up a bottle a while ago at my local detail shop as I had just ran out of Iron X. They don't carry IX, but they had this so I'd figure I'd give it a try until I can order more IX. I haven't got around to trying it yet, so unfortunately no feedback on it's effectiveness.

I used a bottle when DD carried it, not sure if they still do. It has the exact same verbiage on the bottle as IX IIRC, even the same font. It worked exactly the same to me.

I use it quite often and it is indeed a fantastic wheel cleaner. Even better now while on sale.

I completely missed that on their gallon refill page. The adams 1 gal works out to $0.625/oz and the 5 gallon works out to $0.500/oz. These will be added in the first revision.
