*Review!* Meguiar's New Soft Buff 2.0 Pads!!!

This was a great write up on these pads, so I bought two for use on my 2014 RV. It's fiberglass and slightly oxidized, so I also purchased the Meguiars fiberglass restoration kit. I have a Chicago Electric dual action polisher, with a brand new hook and loop backing plate. The first pad just would not stay attached, just spun off every time. The hook & loop material appeared to be very smooth, so I tried brushing it with a stiff nylon brush, but to no avail, it just spun off the polisher immediately as soon as I turned it on. I thought maybe that one was defective, so I got the 2nd one out. It stuck to the hook & loop backing pad just fine and I started using it. After about 10 minutes of use, when I had completed a section about 4' x 4' of the RV's front cap, the pad started to disintegrate (picture attached) with shreds of foam everywhere, then the hook and loop surface came detached from the pad (picture attached) and it was just junk. So, I was expecting the two pads to be durable enough to do the entire 550 sq. ft. of fiberglass exterior surface on my RV, but was extremely disappointed. I'm not sure what the difference was in your experience, but I definitely felt that the product was inferior quality.
