I love the old version of this, the orange bottle you had to mix. I find the beading fantastic washing. I imagine this may be even a bit better.

That one made me laugh--you knew that one was going to be at Big Lots by the end of the season.

Around here we have Ollie's. Sometimes they have half decent detailing products

Yea, and I got some great deals on a product that works great for me. Megs revamped it so it's a straight pour into a bucket now. Mixing wasn't a deal breaker for me.

Have you tried the Armor All Extreme Shield Ceramic Wash? This new Meguiar's soap looks to be the same thing (more or less) but the Armor All is far cheaper. Its like $11 a bottle at Walmart.

And if you put the concentrate in a spray bottle, undiluted, and spray down the wheels, it'll probably work even better. I do this with the Armor All and the beading is insane. Especially for the price and its available locally.

When experimenting with the old Megs ceramic wash, I poured the si02 from the jug directly into a small spray bottle. With a *wet* MF towel, I would spray into the towel and then wipe the wheels with it. The reaction with a wet surface is a cloudy, greasy film that is left behind but easily rinses off with pressure. Beading is pretty crazy. I don't do this method anymore as its a little more laborious than I care for. Using the Armor All Ceramic Wash undiluted in a spray bottle is FAR more easier and the results are just as good, so I use that now.

I also tried applying to dry surfaces like a detail spray and it worked fine. Left the finish slick and glowing.
