Flex XCE 8-125 18?
Just to verify this is the cordless gear driven polisher? I checked a couple theads and just wanted to verify that it is.
Couple questions….
For that have forced rotation what pads would you recommend?
Also what size is the backing plate?
I know the 3401 comes with a 6”.

Yes, that is the CBeast and my most used polisher. It comes with a 6” pad. Plenty of power.
I like and use the Rupes pads, wool and foam, as well as the B&S Uro-Tec pads. My most used pads are the Rupes wool and then sometimes finish with the yellow or white foam pads from Rupes, Uro-Tec, or CarPro (white for Essence).

Have one, and it has a lot of correction ability.
I find myself using the Rupes yellow foam pads the most.

So it’s Rupes yellow? Haven’t tried those yet. It’s a 6” backing player as Dgage mentioned?

Just bought mine last month. Only regret is not just buying it over the corded. I love it so much I'm going to get the SHINEMATE EB351 3" .
I HAVE THE PXE and will use it as a dedicate 2" I'll never get a corded again!

these are a popular choice.... Lake Country Force Hybrid Foam Pads

This innovative collection of pads is manufactured with the state-of-the-art foam compositions you won't find anywhere else, Lake Country Hybrid Foam, but now new and improved! I've tried just about every pad out there, and it seems like it comes down to personal preference.
I use the rupes yellow foam, and have been trying the Spider pads from Sky's the Limit. They are Scholl knock offs basically.
Just try a couple different ones to see what you enjoy most

Re: Flex XCE 8-125 18?
Just got the Flex XCE 8-125 18 myself (also have the corded xce and cordless rotary) and it comes with a 5in. backing plate and that's what I would recommend sticking with on the CBEAST.
As far as pads.... low profile pads seemed to work the best.
- Rupes yellow wool
- Rupes yellow, white foam
- Carpro orange ( very nice pad )
If going with a thicker pad, firm is better. Something like the Lake Country blue HDO pads worked amazing for me when compounding
Ripping through your mind like a hurricane full of novocaine

6.5 inch lake country force white and orange pads. I have a #### ton of them and love them.
I noticed mike p is now promoting auto fordge pads...redline pads that are made by lake country. They are 7/8 inch thick, compared to lc force pads which are 1 1/4 inch thick. Im not switching away from lc force pads. Interesting how he pushed the thick pads for years on forced rotation, but now is using the thinner pads for forced rotation....
I mean hey maybe they are better...idk just not a fan of flipping after all these years
