Glad it's not summer time or you will need some Goo Gone to remove the tape residue.
Tape will probably need to be changed periodically.

I have no residue from the tape. It is all gone. It was in the 70’s when I did this. It’s basically summer here almost of the year.
I was more concerned with wiping excess coating that gets under the tape to not get a hard edge.

So you already removed the tape. How are you going to distinguish the sections months down the road?

Overlaying with the original picture. See post 17 how he did it.

Yea just scroll up a little bit in this same thread... You’ll find post #17. There’s a couple pictures with a dozen or so different names of where he used the products.
You could even choose to save those pics onto your phone and look at them again in a matter of seconds... It’s amazing what we can do in the year 2020.Lol.

Re: 2020 Ceramic Coating 1 Year Test
The IGL Quartz + Has a 12 hour max wait time between coating layers. Any longer and the base has cured too far to allow proper chemical bonding between the 2 layers so there is a possibly that coating may suffer because of that . But who knows we will see

Should be fine. There is a bit of leeway when it comes to layering of coatings.

Guz,
Would you be willing to explain "contact angle"? I've begun to see the term used a bit and would like to know more.
Thanks!
