Sorry mentioned in first post, I have a garage! I will and have always owned/rented a garage spot lol. Even in NYC. I refuse to leave my car outside with the carjackings, thieves, vandals and snow lol.

Car is garaged overnight in an apartment complex, this is where I do my rinseless/waterless wash. At work I also have a garage spot haha. If I'm testing a new product and it is raining. I park in the exterior lot at work, or will actually leave my apt at night and move to the street for a bit to see how it does.

If/when I do a coating UK3 and Gliss seem to get amazing feedback from what I have been seeing. Its actually cheaper for me to do that, because then I will stop buying all these products 😂.

UK3.0 will easily last at least 12 months, if not more.

To give a break to CMX, sometimes when cars that sit around a while after rain has stopped, or are partially dirty, or it’s cold when it rains will not have the tightest looking beads.

I notice this regardless of LSP sometimes under the above circumstances, even if the beading looked fantastic earlier in the rain, or prior to being dirty, or when it was warmer outside.

    Just sayin’.

Maybe so if it had been applied weeks ago.. But a couple of days? Just last month I applied a fresh coat of sealant before the forecast said there’d be 6 straight days of some of the strongest rainfall we’ve had in years and I was enjoying the beading the whole time and a month later I haven’t had to reapply.

Understood, and 97% of the time a new LSP beads great for me too... but there is the occasional time where I see under certain conditions that it doesn’t look as good as I expected... sort of an anomaly caused by wierd conditions maybe?

I know I’m pulling at straws here, just figured maybe there’s a chance this was the case for the recent CMX application and the resulting poor beading.

Parking under a tree during a storm can cause it.

Yes, I agree with that as well... anything that causes unusual contact with the paint compared to what we would normally see.

Has there been anyone that is getting good results from CMX? I haven't notice anyone praising it. Other than a nice look to it, I have only seen good reports when it is applied to the windows so far.
