Re: Cobra Guzzler 16x24
No disrespect toward those who use these towels without incident, but this Thread just changed my mind on buying these.
I use that same Pinnacle Wash on all my towels too, you'd think that even after doing that there'd be some "Softness" within them.
Thank you for saving me money, and looking at something else!

I have never had a problem with these either and they are one of my favorites. They actually do work better if they are damp. I use Wolfgang Uber as a drying aid and that seems to help with the finish.

Same here, I always start with a dry towel and I’ve never experienced any issues. The moment it gets too damp, I switch out to a fresh dry towel.

I just received the Griots Garage drying towel, it’s pretty damn nice. Worth looking at if your in the market. But you can get 2-3 guzzlers for the price of the Griots.

The PFM is amazing. Worth every penny.
Guzzlers are good, The PFM is incredible.

So I ended up wetting down a guzzler prior to a dry session on my black car. Water pickup seemed better and very minimal marring if any after the full dry session with no blower.

Great! I know others here have said they use them dry, but I've always wet mine before using. Like, literally spray them with the hose and wring them out. It's for this reason that I only need *one* medium guzzler to dry even a large 4 door pickup. I don't see a need to grab a new towel when the guzzler gets wet. Wring it out and keep going.

Some things, like divorce and Griots PFM drying towels, are expensive because they're worth it
