Re: Review: Meguiars Non-Acid Wheel & Tire Cleaner (D-143)
Thank you so much. I was wondering if Meguiar's D-143 also included iron decon. Honestly I am truly impressed with it. I also have the Meguiar's spray bottle paired with a Spray Master sprayer.

I found a 32oz. bottle at the parts store, and gave it a try today. I used it on my wife's older SUV that doesn't get clean a lot. It did a good job, I like the ideal of having one product/spray bottle to clean tires and rims, instead of two different spray bottles. Looks like on my next order I'll will be ordering a Gallon.

Hmmm. Ian hasn't checked in for some time. Sent him a PM to see how he is doing.

Hey fellas! I'm still alive just haven't been that active for a while due to new kiddos and a career shifts. Speaking of I'm starting a new job on July 13, with a great company. I'm super excited out about it.
JustJesus - sorry man, I didn't see your message. Did you send it to me here or on Autopia? My apologies for leaving you hanging like that.
I'm glad to see this review is still helping folks decide what wheel cleaner to buy. I'm still a fan of Megs D-143 for general wheel & tire cleaning, used it just the other day in fact.
How's everyone been?

Hey Ian!!! Glad to see you on. Congrats on the new job bud. Sounds like you have been busy behind scenes.
You cant beat the performance at cost attributes of D143. One of the best maintenance wheel and tire cleaners out there.
I too got started with a new job and had to relocate up north to ND from Illinois.

Digging up fossils.
I have been detailing for a while now on my personal vehicles, I love the Megs Ultimate wheel cleaner but dang it's expensive.
I bought the D143 but it says it safe on clear coated wheels but NOT safe for clear coated calipers, this doesn't make sense to me.
Anyone?

My label doesn’t say anything about clear coated calibers just says do not use on uncoated aluminum or anodized wheels
