lj933--Does the BF have more cut than Speed in your opinion?

It appears so from what I've read.

I've found Speed to be on the light side of cut but boy it can bring out the shine...!

Re: Blackfire One Step vs. HD Speed

The one step seems to cut better. I am going to try some side by side tests when I get a bit of time. It took out the micro scratches pretty quickly. It left a very nice finish. I am very happy with the results. Phil

If I use Speed and I want to put down a sealant, is it customary to use a cleanser or a IPA?

Not really. It's ok to go ahead and put down sealant.

If it were me...I'll leave it for a couple of months and then lay down sealant. That way---you can take advantage of the protection already present in Speed. No sense of working backwards...

I meant to say I will be using a light polish to get rid of some light marring and wanted to know whether to go to a cleanser or a IPA?

Re: Blackfire One Step vs. HD Speed

I got to put my bottle of one-step to use today. I just wanted to try it out. The door I tried it on was in good shape so I can’t speak on the cut it has. But the resulting shine was great. Happy I got it on the cheap sale last month. Great product.

Not sure what you mean---However, Speed will remove light marring and protect all in one step. Speed is an AIO (All-In-One). Compounds, polishes and protects all at one step.

Any other updates or reviews? Is the blackfire better than speed? Thinking about ordering blackfire while it's on sale if it's better.

It's 100% subjective but IMO Blackfire 1-step is the best AIO I own. I love it more and more every day. It's stupid easy to use and wipes off even easier HD Speed in most cases. Plus Blackfire is unreal on microfiber cutting pads. Blackfire should have advertised 1-step as a completely new and entirely different product rather than saying it's new formulation of BF Total Polish & Seal.

HD Speed is still the most economical option and a product every professional detailer should own if they want to maximize profits on AIO jobs.
