Re: Review: Race Ramps
I have these ramps as well and they are as advertised. They do not slip AT ALL! And are very lightweight.
BTW, for the oil change on that TL, as a former TL owner and a current Honda 3.5 V6 owner, I find it much easier to just jack up the car and remove the right front tire to access the filter. With the tire off, its RIGHT THERE. Its a little bit of a pain to access without removing the tire. I usually rotate the tires with an oil change anyway so I am kinda killing two birds with one stone.

Picked up a 2017 V6 Honda Accord Coupe last summer, pulled wheels second week of owning it to coat 'em and "###, is that the %$#@! Oil filter behind the passenger side front wheel!?!?". Nice going Honda, I'm sure it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Review: Race Ramps
I bought The two-piece race ramps for my 1LE Camaro and love them. I'm usually a cheap ass and would normally not pay that much for something like that when there are other ramps for a fraction of the cost. However I love these ramps and I am totally glad that I finally purchased them
I will never use any other type of Ramp again

Re: Review: Race Ramps
Great review! I've had my Rhino Ramps for years, but need something like these. My car sits 2" lower than stock, so I've had to "lengthen" the ramps with a stacked set of 2x10's just so I can get the car up without ripping off the front spoiler. I need a set of these!

Yeah... if I had a different alternative, I'd go that route. But there's no ramps out there that provides this much lift.

You're welcome Bob! Thanks for the compliments. I really appreciate it
Wow you had your race Ramps for that long already?! How's it holding up? The cost must have been reasonable back then.

That's what I thought before too. Too rich for my blood too but after using it and seeing how much lift it provides, I think it's totally worth it esp if you have a Vette.

I'm not really comfortable getting underneath the car with only jack stands supporting the car.
I changed the engine oil and ATF on that car that's why it was on ramps.
Yeah it's stupid how Honda put suspension components underneath the oil filter. I hate how oil gets everywhere. I loved our 8th gen Accord i4 because the oil filter is pointed down and there's nothing underneath that oil filter.

That's exactly how I felt before. I'm cheap ass too hahaha! I never looked into race ramps because I think rhino ramps did the job as well. Yes I don't think I'll use any other Ramp too.

Yup.
I usually Jack up the entire side of the car and put a jack stand for safety, and pull the tires, change the oil, and then rotate the tires. I feel comfortable getting under the car with both a jack and a jack stand, but not a jack alone.
But with the wheel off its super easy to change the filter. And just as easy to wipe down the places where the oil drips.
