Quick thoughts on Carpro Hydrofoam....

I just got this in the mail. Going to use it to help maintain my Cquartz UK I just applied.

I took advantage of this weekends sale and placed a small order on the sister site... I was strongly considering giving this a try for the 1st time after reading this thread, but the strict warning to not use this wash in any kind of sunlight was a dealbreaker for me. That's just unrealistic when maintaining customers vehicles in the real world... And since I wouldn't need to use it on my own vehicles I went with another bottle of Reset which I actually need more of for myself.

I'm very impatient when it comes to applying LSP's.

I think I may have a bit of the same problem, at least when it comes to my own car... For example, it's about to reach 3 whole months since I stripped the paint on my hood with plans of testing a coating vs. sealant, but the simple fact that I'm already going to polish, followed by the mandatory 2nd step of "prep polish" for the coating, + I gotta be extra careful and lay down clean towel between sides in order to prevent cross contamination [I'm anal like that when I perform tests] has led me to not make the time to get around to it...

Not only that, but I had to buy a used tire about a month ago... I went ahead and cleaned it the 1st day, but didn't have time to coat it 3x that day.. So of course I haven't gotten around to doing that either so my car has 3 coated tires and 1 ugly one. Ain't got no time for that! Lol.

not surprising, carpro products are top notch!

I would venture to say they are the best I've used overall, and if I had to use one brand and one brand only, it's be CarPro

I used this yesterday morning. Used it in my foam gun with an Adams wash pad. It seems pretty slick and cleaned my coated car well. Left behind a good shine as well. I did use it while the sun was comming up and washed 1 panel at a time with no streaking of any sort.

You're basically using two very similar products. They're just used in different ways.

I would lean more to overkill. Maybe reload would be a better option.
