Like the Essence Primer is needed to make the strong bond to the paint and then Essence Plus makes a better bond to the Essence primer than it does with bare paint.
The Plus was designed to bond to the coating.

With Essence PLUS, we introduce you to the first NON-abrasive solution to partially repair fine swirls, when an abrasive correction is not in the cards! While increasing the gloss, Essence PLUS simultaneously cleanses the surface, leaving a “smooth as glass” feel and amazing hydrophobic properties!
... so they encourage the use on un-coated paint

Re: CarPro Essence Plus on Uncoated Paint
It’s is a very tempting product to purchase and try but is expensive. The end result on your vehicle was gorgeous do you think it was more the polish or did essence plus give the coating look? Do you think if diluted down it could be used like a reload or cure over a coating?

Re: CarPro Essence Plus on Uncoated Paint
Of the 3 options for use I have never used Plus to repair an existing coating or applied to bare paint.
Well I did both cars with the Essence Primer and Plus on top again. I'll have to see if we get the same results. Both car owners said that they really liked that combo on their cars and requested I use it again. I plan on sticking with the combo and not using it on it own on bare paint. The combo produces the smoothest looking surface I've ever seen. The leveling and filling it can do almost makes a surface look like it has had some wet sanding done to it.

Wash, clay and essence plus made this Porsche pop, I applied it with a black polishing pad, just a few section passes, finished the whole car and then went back to wipe it all off.

Re: CarPro Essence Plus on Uncoated Paint
Yea looks great and it’s nice gloss and depth. I had gotten a bottle of it since I read this forum and watered it down and use it after I wash the car. I use it diluted with distilled water as a QD and spray wax it my new new favorite product I’ve been using it around the house too. I have a glass coat on my car and this stuff really lays nice on it and fills any micro marring way better than primo amigo or poor boys black hole every did on non coated cars. It has also replaced my Gyeon cure I should try mixing cure into the concoction.
that white Porsche look top notch nice work

Re: CarPro Essence Plus on Uncoated Paint
I’ve been using Essence and Plus combo for over 2 years now as my go to base light polish and sealant. I get consistent 12 months on daily drivers in Michigan. It’s a solid performer for me.
