Mini Review - CarPro Essence Plus

Nice review.

I've put this in my shopping cart and have taking it out over the last few days. For me, this would be a product used to touch up a car that has been coated - after a year or so. Personally, with good technique and regular maintenance I still find it hard to avoid minor swirls. Perhaps this is my technique. Perhaps this is my kids. Perhaps this is just a fact of life with a dark car. However, it would be nice to use a product like this on my car and similar cars that need a little touch-up but certainly don't need the work of a full correction.

This might be a good product for clients who have coated cars you want to bring in their car every 4 months or 6 months just to get a refresher. Call it a Rejuvenation!

It's been a year maybe a year and a half since it was last touched with a polisher. It's washed induced marring. No doubt about that. Not blaming the coating entirely but it is susceptible to marring much more easily than Gloss Coat which I have been using as of late. The performance of this particular coating is decent.



Not a big deal to clay it. It's coming off anyway. In the end this is a test of essence plus. If done lightly with a lot of clay lube it is just fine. The hood was already f'ed up with a lot of defects. FYI optimum states that it is ok to clay their coatings using a specific method. Not sure about carpro.

Good product though thus far from an initial use.

Likely a product of whatever is in the car wash or other products eventually on top of it. Try CarPro Reload and see if you get the same result. Personally, I mix Reload with ECH20 as a detail spray and it works great.

I also use it as a ww/qd. Tried differenct ratios and found 2:20 with 2 oz. of Reload to work the best for me. What ratios are you using?

1:20 with 2-3oz of reload. My current mix has 3oz in it. I mix up 32oz at time. 28oz ECH20 mixe and 3oz Reload and a little left to shake it up. Works great.
