Good Day fellow detailers. I finally got around to using a new and improved product from Wolfgang. Just like "DanLAXX1" I too was fortunate enough to receive this bottle of Wolfgang Carpet and Upholstery Restorer from Nick.
First off, here's the details:
- Heavily soiled tan carpets from a 2006 Lincoln Navigator
- Tools used...
- Shop vac to clean up loose debris
- Porter Cable XP with Cyclo brush attachment
- Microfiber towel
- Wolfgang Carpet and Upholstery Restorer
The carpets haven't been cleaned in years and it shows. This job would normally be tackled by a hot water carpet extractor. But I don't have one. I wanted to see if this cleaner had the muscle behind its claims. The previous reviews had mild to moderate stains/dirt in the carpet. As you'll see, these tan carpets are really bad.
Onto the picture show!

The final result...
Here's my thoughts on the product. Clearly, it works great. It was a breeze to use, especially using the PCXP & brush. It has a very pleasant scent that is fresh - kind of like citrus or berries, hard to put my finger on it. I did have to apply it a second time in the really bad area in the middle, but it got out most of the stains. The one type of stain that it struggled with is oil. It reduced the small spots greatly, but they are still there, faintly.
Thanks for reading!
