Super cheap and plenty of it. Check your local auto parts, if they don't have any check the hardware store next. And always do a test spot when using on any area of a vehicle. Practicing on random metal things in the garage is great practice and allows you to get a feel for what to expect from it.

My name's Ric, but I've got a pet peeve when it comes to calling people by their chosen names, so since we know each other through this forum, I prefer to be called Eldorado. I even introduced myself to Mike Phillips as Eldorado. He started laughing. Lol. [I figure how else would he have any idea who I was]
Haha alright Eldorado. The quest to look for another unknown begins. I shall add it to the other thread if I do find it and recommend it hehe.

I shall stay away from the household steel wool for now.

    Once again thank you!

Definitely sounds promising! I did a Honda pilot recently and only used APC and a little P21s Restorer on a terry rag for fear of damage.

This does however put me at ease!

@ Jeremy , apologies for highjacking your thread. But your exhaust tips looked so damn good, it had to be done!

Actually, there's nothing super exclusive to automotive use as far as the Rhodes American Steel Wool. They just happen to sell it at Oreillys. They sell it at the big orange hardware store as well.. It lists dozens of uses for it on the back label. From hardwood floors to polishing metal wheels. It even says it can repair burn marks on leather.. But don't get any ideas. Lol.

No problem my man. I enjoy good conversation. I will be doing my wife's VW Passat. They are bad and full of carbon. I will take before and after pictures and post them.
