Dont know what material it is, but its soft enough, it feels like...... demin? haha
but while I was walking around with all the stuffs in the bag and "acting" like I was polishing,
it didnt really worry me hitting the car or adding swirls.
if thats what youre worried about.
I might remove one of the big pocket and just use 2 smalls ones and 1 big one.

Ah the price. Honestly, you could take one of those military style magazine dump pouches, or even two, and put them on your belt. Maybe 12$ a dump pouch, then just attac a mf clothe on the outside of the pouch to prevent scratching the car. Just a thought

Yeah, that was my concern. I have a microfiber apron I made from a larger drying towel - works great to prevent scratched, but just ok for holding stuff. I like the concept of the belt, but I know my habit of leaning first and thinking about it later.

Price is pretty harsh for what it is, I agree.
I thought about using one of those bag that rock climers use to hold their chalk powder as well.
but still think this is better option compare to rupes belt, cheaper and more practical.

Re: The Belt Review
Yeah either way. I'll probably just pickup a dump pouch.

Re: The Belt Review
The price is a definitive draw back. There is no way it cost that much to make. I would go $20-30 but heck I'm just fine with the aprons I have used for years.
