Does this product live up to its advertising:
- Yes, absolutely!
Final thoughts:
This product is a win.
I really cannot say enough good things about this product.
I was impressed by this product from the first application spray and wipe.
This product was clearly researched and engineered to be the best glass cleaner on the market, and not just a reformulation of common glass cleaner ingredients.
It is unique and not like any glass cleaner I have seen before.
I appreciate it when a company invests in R&D and produces a next generation product.
I gladly support such companies with my dollars.
This product earns a permanent spot on the auto detail cart.
Highly recommend this product.

I have extensive experience with D120.
If all glass cleaners were the same price, and consumers chose glass cleaner based on performance alone, D120 would never make the cut.
It is over rated, under performs, and is an average at best glass cleaner.
It is a good glass finisher, not a good glass cleaner.
It also is over saturated with a grape Kool-Aid smell that stinks up the vehicle and the shop it is stored in.
I realize that D120 is a favorite among professional auto detailers.
I honestly think this has to do with the following reasons:
1. Price.
It is clearly economical.
2. Concentrate.
It can be diluted to suit ones needs.
3. Availability.
It is commercially available through many vendors.
4. Used as a finisher.
Typically used on glass that has already been cleaned during the basic wash process.
So, most do not use it to actually clean very dirty glass.
Interior glass rarely gets that dirty, though in some cases, it can.|
Honestly, most detailers, or people in general, do not extensively test out products.
Most consumers think that most products are generally the same ingredients, with generally the same results.
In some respects that is true, in many respects it is not true.

Re: Review: Sonax Glass Cleaner
After trying several glass cleaners, Sonax is my favorite.

Re: Review: Sonax Glass Cleaner
I gotta politely disagree with you but I will buy it Tommorow to check it out.Ive tried and tossed many glass cleaners thru the years.a lot of the rtu cleaners are horrible and store bought stuff is a disaster.about 14 years ago there were several cleaners that cleaned and polished at the same time.Due to the change and crackdown on voc laws they are no longer available. There is one incredible glass polish still left and it's not heard of but it will blow you away.its a polish not a cleaner it's has water sheeting effects that last a long time. But back to the topic I will get it Tommorow and thanks again.

Have you tried it on hot sizzling glass?

Re: Review: Sonax Glass Cleaner
I have found D120 is finicky with the weather. I play around with the dilutions (tend to go a little higher concentration) and it works just as good as the rest of the bunch.
Hands-down, Invisible Glass aerosol is the best. I wouldn't move away from it, ever.

Re: Review: Sonax Glass Cleaner
Just to be clear.
I am not stating at this time that this Sonax Glass cleaner is the best glass cleaner out there.
I am stating that the R&D behind this product was
intended to produce the best glass cleaner, and not just go through the motions to put something out there that is like other products but with a different scent.
This product is clearly different in chemistry, application, and results than most glass cleaners.
It certainly proved itself to me over multiple applications, and in worst case scenario conditions.
It is definitely one of my favorites, and mjght just be the best glass cleaner I have used.
For now, I am not ready to make that determination, but am very impressed by the performance of this product.
