    McKee's 37 360 vs HD Speed - A quick review and comparison

Hi everyone. I wanted to share my experience with McKee's 37 360 as some people had been asking about it. For those who don't know, 360 is an "all in one" product that corrects paint and leaves behind protection in a single step. The sealant built into the formula is supposed to last for many months.

I did a quick test against HD Speed using my typical machine and pad combo for all in one services (Flex 3401 and Lake Country Hybrids).

Here is what the paint condition looked like.

The product consistency is similar to that of HD Speed and it has a pleasant aroma. I primed my pad, put a few drops of working product, and got to work.

I worked the product at speed 4 for 4 overlapping passes before it started to clear up. Work sections were a bit larger than normal 2x2 areas.

I then worked on a section with HD Speed with a fresh pad, the same amount of product, and for the same amount of passes.

After about 10 minutes, I wiped both sides with a microfiber towel. Both products have very good work times in my opinion. Neither gave me any issues with wiping which is what I like to see in an all in one product.

Both products yielded impressive results. Here you can see Speed on the left and 360 on the right.

I could not tell any noticeable difference in correction capability between the two. Really you can't go wrong with either product. Great results and a breeze to use.

I'm very happy with my purchase and the performance of 360. If the durability lives up to the claim, this seems like a real hit AIO product.

Oh and as a bonus, here is what this stuff can do when paired with a Meguiar's microfiber cutting disc. This spot I wiped away after 30 mins and it still wiped easy.

Hardly any defects left over. If you ask me that's pretty impressive for an AIO.

    That's all, thanks for looking!

Great review Haris. One of the biggest attributes of Speed is being able to use it in direct sunlight on a warm day. Did you get a chance to try the new 360 outdoors by any chance?

Unfortunately I did not get a chance to try it outside. If you like I can give that a shot this week or weekend and check back in with what I experienced.

McKees 37 was used on a huge residential single stage green back up generator. The owner was blown away by the results. Now I'm doing 4 garage doors tomorrow by hand.awesome product period.

Nick will need to chime in on my comment that they must have amped up the correcting ability or abrasives in the new 360 because I dont think the old version had that much correcting ability. But it is nice to see it compared favorably with HD Speed as that seems to be everyones go to AIO.
