Anyone been able to use one that can give their thoughts on how it compares to the Rupes 15 MK II and Griot's G15? Putting off my purchase in hopes of some solid info, but chomping at the bit to get started....

Eric from Autoality mentioned there'd be a 4.75" version of BP by Flex around the May/June timeframe.

Be here at Detail Fest and tell Bob Eichelberg your idea in person!
Did anyone get a chance to ask Bob Eichelberg about the naming contest @ Detail Fest?
At this point I'm pretty certain the contest is DOA but just in case...

We had 32 guys buffing out 6 awesome streetrods using the new FLEX XFE 7 and all the feedback they gave to me was overwhelmingly positive.
They loved the power and the low vibration operation.
The cars came out perfect and each of the builders were blown away by how perfect the paint on their cars looked after the Competition Ready Teams detailed them to perfection.
I'll send out an e-mail to all the guys on my team and ask them to take a moment to share their thoughts here on the forum.
We used nothing but ThinPro pads for the correction, polishing and machine waxing.

I had the pleasure of going to Detail Fest this excellent weekend and be on Mike's team.
We used the XFE-7 and as soon as I held this machine I was excited to use it.
Weight: tool is lightweight and extremely easy to maneuver and manipulate the polisher. (Around 5 lbs)
Comfort: the new head is a dream to hold with nice rubber at the head to wrap your hands around. The machine is virtually almost vibration free, it is soo smooth, one of the smoothest machines you will ever get your hands on, I couldn't believe how smooth It was polishing even at high speeds.
Sound: this machine is pretty quiet, I expected it to be much louder then it was, and that is just another comfort+ added for the user.
Power: this machine punches plenty of power , but that doesn't mean you give up comfort , it's just as smooth even at speed 6.
Polishing experience: this gave me such good results on the 73 Trans am we was working on , with the noise in the background I sometimes forgot the polisher was even on, how smooth it was, it wasn't hard on my body arms back or feet, and I was letting the polisher do the work for me.
Overall I fell in love with this machine, and do plan on purchasing it in the near future, this thing is just too smooth.
Cons: the only con FOR NOW is it doesn't have a 5 inch backplate yet, I am a fan of 6.5 inch pads and 6 inch plates, however I would love to test and use this machine with the 5 inch plate, I talked to the excellent remarkably passionate guys at flex and we can all be expecting that optional back plate in the near future!
If anyone has any questions ask away or pm me anytime, me and my team used the machine to complete the whole car!
Do I recommend this machine? YES!

Thank you very much Mike and Joe. Really appreciate your thoughts and opinions!!
Seems there is much to choose from and any of the big three would be a good choice....
