Re: Review & How-To: Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Paint Coating
So i went through the entire process earlier this week, but after re-reading your instructions, i think i made 2 mistakes. First, i don't think that i used enough product and spread it too thin bc there were times that i could hear the applicator squeeking on the surface. Second, instead of waiting a minute or two before wiping off the excess, i wiped the panels down immediately after applying the coating (before the coating dried) bc i was worried about high spots.
Can i just apply a second layer of the coating or do i have to start all over?

I would think just doing a second coat would be fine after prep wipedown.

Yeah I would just apply a 2nd coat for sure. Did you make an X on the applicator?
Just wait about a minute and wipe it down. The thing with high spots is they happen, it's the nature of the beast with this but thin is better than thick.
Keep us posted!

Yes, i made an X when adding more, i just think i tried doing too big of a section each time, so the coating got spread really thin...to the point that the applicator was squeeking on the surface from being too dry. Also, wipes it down immediately instead of waiting a minute or two, so i probably wiped off a good bit of the coating before it could set.
Thanks for the advice

I'm proud to announce that Ech2o is coating safe when doing a RW or WW.

That's what it was made for right? Or what do you mean by coating safe?

Coating safe
I see no "film" left behind after repeated uses.

Has any used CarPro Reload on Wolfgang Uber Coating?
I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be compatible but thought I would ask for others experience. Thanks!

Re: Review & How-To: Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Paint Coating
Thanks for the advice fellas...the 2nd coat went much better. Is Griot's Speed Shine safe to use as a waterless wash or will it compromise the coating?
