My own experiences were just having a simple wax or sealant put on top. The top layer behaved just like the wax or sealant for a good period of time and then things either went back to good beading or got totally fuzzy in cases where I assume the bottom coat was totally compromised by it.
Is this with Cancoat because were talking about topping WG ceramic not a sealant or paste wax. Your experience with HGPW on a coated vehicle (BMW) vs a non coated (Acura) seam to mirror my experiences. I guess a case of YMMV....

Sorry, maybe getting my threads confused, but what I say above has occurred in my past beyond the recent discussion in the other thread. Quarantine is turning me to mush.

As for on top you can add any LSP you want. Inly issue is if it will “bond” with the coating. From what i’ve read and gather most waxes and sealants won’t as the coating is designed to stay clean and shed contaminants.
Thats why the now have Sio2 sealants (toppers) that are designed to work with coatings.
WG has their proprietary topper.
Wolfgang Uber SiO2 Silica Spray
I’d use up what you have and then get a sio2 sealant

Thanks for your reply.
I think I will use the remainder of the products, especially Paint Sealant 3.0.
It's a shame actually really like the Uber Rinseless wash (for waterless wash). My mate thought I was nuts using no water to wash a car. I gave him some and he is hooked he can't believe how good it is.
WG Spray Coating unopened stored in the spare bedroom with the rest of the other products should be ok?
I have two cars and girlfriends, all biggish cars so will use paint sealant on them.
Is Can Coat the same as WG Spray Coating?
Thanks again

Do you find that to be logistically challenging?

Cancoat is considered a Coating lite. Thats my assumption of this new product as where it fits im wolfgangs line. It is new though but yes this seems to be a coating lite.
You should still be able to use your Uber. It does contain polymers which some say may clog your coating as Acura referred too but some say they’ve used with no problems.
I would use up your uber as it’s a great rinseless. Buying your next one look up rinseless wahses that leave nothing behind but a good one from AG (onlyone left ilI think) is Griots Brilliant shine rinsless wash. Also Car pros Ech20 leaves something behind bit it’s made for ceramics and is an amazing product. More expensive than Uber but definitely worth it.
Pick up Some Carpro’s Reset shampoo to alternate every few washes from whatever shampoo your using to give a little more deep cleaning and your good.
I got alot of this info from AG and Autopia forums but this is what works for me.
Happy detailing
