Re: Sneak Peek! - New Polisher!
I see Rupes is actually releasing four new machines. The Big Foot Mille , a rotary , a air Big Foot and a new electric Skorpio palm sander. If people new to detailing were having trouble choosing before , they may have a lot harder time making up their mind now. Plus a new selection of wool and thin foam pads. We are in interesting times for the detailing industry. And tool junkies like myself are going to take a major hit in our budget.

Looks like it bogs down in free spin. I honestly wouldn't buy this polisher because it's dual mode. I would buy it for the clockwise forced rotation.

even if it has more opm's than the flex 3401, the flex would still have the advantage in orbit by at least 2-3 inches (kinda like the debate between the pc orbit vs long throw) even though the makita would be more comfortable to use since it spins clockwise. in anycase, look forward to seeing a comparison between the two...

thats one way of thinking..and thought that myself...also was thinking less OPM means more rotary like and has the supporting rotation to do it

The original 5ish min video was taken down from the AGO youtube channel. Showed the machine to work very well on the yellow Duster Mike was correcting. Will probably be in his write up.
