I have heard some low level rumors of a Flex XFE7-15 125, which I assume to be the version of the XFE that has a backing plate that can use 5.5" pads. The other possibility is the XCE3401, which is the updated XC3401 with the case and improved ventilation of the XFE7-15 150. This one has been shown on and off for a couple of years now.

From the video, it definitely looks like a Rupes/Flex/GG Boss type design (what I like to call the "long handle design) vs. a shorter body PC/GG6 type design.

Appears to be a cordless unit.....finally ! Or more than likely a new Mikita ..

Not cordless, there appears to be a bulge on the side(wrapped cord). Also, there looks to be no battery on the polisher(too slim). 99% chance it's the new makita dual mode.

A cordless polisher will have a big bulge in the back due to the shape of the battery. This polisher does not.
