Review and How-to: NEW Wolfgang Total Engine Cleaner

I'll answer on Mike's behalf since he's out in the Show Car Garage doing inventory for the upcoming SONAX class in Indiana.

One dead giveaway for the overall quality of Wolfgang Total Engine Cleaner is the fact that it doesn't need to be rinsed off. You can absolutely rinse it off if you'd like (which I would recommend for heavily soiled engine bays), but for light cleaning (as demonstrated by Mike in this article), you can wipe it off using a microfiber towel.

If you plan on cleaning an engine that's covered in oil and sludge, I would choose McKee's 37 Engine Degreaser. For the every day driver, Wolfgang Total Engine Cleaner is tough to beat.

I can attest to this. I didn't feel like I needed to "dress" the engine compartment after cleaning with the WG Total Engine Cleaner. The cleaner left a Dressing of its own. Really nice stuff!

I wanted to inquire does Wolfgang have something to protect the engine/engine bay after cleaning it?

This isn't in the Wolfgang line but instead it's in the BLACKFIRE line but it works great because it worls like a cleaner/wax for plastic. That is, it cleans, condition and protects in one step.
