For correction I am a big fan of the Meguiars DMC5 DA Microfiber Cutting Discs, 5 inches with Meguiars D300 DA Microfiber Correction Compound
For that "Extra Cut" I like Meguiars M101 Foam Cut Compound with CarPro Flash Spot Repair Pad 5" and/or the CarPro Flash Spot Repair Pad - 3 1/2"

I noticed how everyone was using the 3" pads for heavier correction, fortunately my car is in really good shape and the cars that I do detail for others, well the owners wouldn't know a swirl or buffer haze if it bit them.
