Edge v LC CCS - which is better
I'm looking at getting a PC kit. Which pads do I get? I'm sure there are differences in durability, ease of use, performance, etc. Please give me your opinions. Thanks.

I personally prefer the Edge pads over velcro/backing plate type pads, but others will perfer the backing plate pads. Can't go wrong either way. I love the Edge System though . I heard some people say the CCS pads got clogged up too quickly b/c of the closed cell design?

IMO there's no difference in durability, ease of use, or performace... it's all a matter of personal opinion so you should try out both and see which you like better... I'm 100% sure there will be someone on the boards who will purchase the stuff you don't like

I just received my edge 2k pads yesterday and couldn't wait to try them out. For me, I will never go back to the backing plate. I even flipped the pads and used different product with no leak through or fly off from other side. You can't go wrong with the Edge 2k. Oh, I got the wave pads this time and they seemed to work a little better than the flat in my opinion.

Haven't used CCS pads yet, but I will tell you for sure I don't like backing plate. It literally melts at speed 6. I'd rather stick with Edge 2000.

I went with edge after having some pads fly off going around some curves. Tried out the edge system and won't go back to backing plates/velcro design.

I'm a CCS user and absolutely love them. I've never had an issue with clogged foam or backing plate issues. But like others have said, it really comes down to personal preference. Either system is good.

I love the Edge system. What really sold me on it though, was Aaron from Edge at Detail Fest II. He was a cool guy, knew what he was talking about, and really showed off his product well. That, and it is super easy to use. And their Customer Service is 2nd to none.
