I have a 66 Porsche that has fresh paint, 6 weeks old, and could be improved with sanding. The paint brand is U-Tech 4.0, which is formulated for sanding. Three coats of clear were used to allow sanding.
I want to be conservative in the approach to allow for my inexperience. I have a good air compressor and good lighting in the work space. I also have a spare hood that I will paint using the same method and materials as the car for practice.
OK, what process, tools, materials would you guys reccomend?
No, the car was painted by a shop professional. The shop owner and I are friends and I do some of the work, block sanding, non critical welding, hanging doors/fenders etc.
The car is currently at my house to finish brake lines, fuel lines, wiring, interior, etc.
