Just a quick update on this policy, I know there are probably more than a couple members that have had this question, and that is whether Griot's Garage 6" Polisher warranty applies in Puerto Rico. I decided to make a thread on it and it is applicable in Puerto Rico. Attached is their response.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us here at Griot’s Garage. Our warranty does apply to residents of Puerto Rico. If you have any problems with the unit, simply send it to our distribution and returns center in Plainfield, IN. Once we receive it we will send out a replacement unit.
