Re: Harbor Freight DA Polisher - New
Glad to hear you got the pads in the kit changed to 5.5" and I think you will be more than happy with the GG. I have the V2 and it has performed great.
I noticed you had UC in your list, but no UP--you'll need a polish after the UC to finish the paint and bring up the gloss.

There is a DA sander on sale for $34 and it is $70 on Amazon. It also gets the same type 4star reviews that all the other sanders get. What do u want for $34. Buy a 3M for $120 if your worried about cheap products?

What's your point?? He is willing to spend more for the GG DA which is by far the best standard DA out there.

The UC i will use on my 8 yr old van and my moms 3yr old CRV. Both never had any detailing done and always gone to autowash(swirl/scratch machine wash). I started out with Megs new car kit and bought the UP also. I was trying to follow Megs 5 step system. I hated the hand polish/wax thing. So i did read and research and end up building my kit. I have mostly Megs products from Ulti wash and wax to step 5 Quick detailer.

Re: Harbor Freight DA Polisher - New
This AM I puled off the red front cover of my HF DA (looking at the photo of the red grease coming out of the port, over flow.)
I used a grease gun,the type used to grease the nose sprocket
on a chain saw bar, proceded to put grease into the gear box of my HF
I turned it on to #1 then started to fill at the same time
the noise went down.
This is a different type of grease, I am willing to see if it works.
