    Replacement for UDM

I have the UDM and it is starting to have some issues. I don't use it much. Yesterday I did a detail with it and running at high speed it started to smell like a hot engine smell. Then it slowed down several times. I think it was over heating.

What should a occasional hobby user buy? I want something that will last and perform well.

It probably only needs new brushes. Look to see if there is a tool repair shop in your area or just buy some new brushes and change them your self.

wow .... havent seen the UDM mentioned in sometime. I do also remember some suggesting brush replacement as being a culprit.
