Good move; buy quality, buy once.

I want to add a 3" polisher to my Flex and considered the Griot's, but after reading a few reviews...no thanks.

The question is, who makes a quality 3 inch polisher that I can use for the small sections of paintwork?

there is no Bp that I'm aware of to use a 3" pad on a 3401 safely . there is the gg3 da or u can just get 2.875 Bp to use on the gg style da's , or even a rotary .

I love the power of the tool but hate the quality. Sad thing about it is that I'd have no issue paying more money for a good solid DA with equal or better power which will last as long as my rotary polishes have.

You must not run your Griots at speed 6, cause I never had a PC, Meg, or Griots run smoother than the 3401.

Those 3 free spinning DA at full tilt sounds like a Jamba Juice blender and feels like a mini jackhammer.
There is vast amounts of knowledge at your fingertips, use Google, Youtube, and the search button.

I can't think of anyone that runs their GG at speed 6...at least not without have their pads blow apart! Anything over speed 5 is overkill on that machine IMO.
