Yes it was and still is at Lowes. Everyone claims that it's same but it did not work for me at all. Took it back and got G110V2. It's like day and night difference.I also see that Home Depot has PC 7424XP.

I have an old 7336 and it served me well for years. I've never had a problem with it and it worked great. Once I got a Flex it got moved to back up duty

The 7346 comes with a 6" sanding backing plate. Looks like the exact same machine as the 7424XP.

I use my old G100 for household sanding all the time. I used them to strip 4 coats of paint off old radiator covers before I resprayed them. I have used it to sand wood work. Just be very careful, it sands very quickly!

I would never use it again for automotive use out of fear sawdust would be blown from the vents

I saw the 7346SP at Lowe's yesterday. They have reduced the price to $109 for these. I wonder if they are the same motor as the XP? Does anyone know?
