Gray and Blue Pads
What is the difference between these two LC pads? When would one use one instead of the other?

both are finishing pads and I have never noticed a difference between either when using with a final polish. If there is a difference in composition, I highly doubt it will effect choosing one over the other.

the gray pad can be use with any wax or sealant and even some mild polishes. The blue pad is softer and is great for sealants and show car glazes.
