resizing 6 1/2" pads
has anyone tried to trim down the 6 1/2' pads to 5 1/2" ?
if so how did u do it. there's gotta be a way !

Gotta be tough on your buffer if they are out of balance (cut uneven). I've never attempted it so I'm just thinking out loud. Guys that cut foam for fly tying do it with sissors shaped like a pizza cutter and a straight edge. That foam is only 2mm to 5mm thick. Maybe make a template to keep that type sissor running true. Still sounds risky.
