It will also depend on which Menz polishes you are using. PG has a cut of 5 and PO87MC has a cut of 1, big difference.

the whole point is not having to do serious/aggressive paint correction often. once you've done that, watch your washing/drying techniques and use a light polish every so often...

Re: Porter cable 7424
For me, i used SIP w/orange maybe 2 times on my entire car. After i got the results i wanted i just continued my routine wash and dry. Of course, after a wash, you sometimes get trails and marks from the sponge or mitt. In that case, after i wash it/dry, i hit the car with Nano w/pad and that makes it look absolutely perfect. I had some of my best results after the 3rd wash of my car lol with a little Nano Polish. Its basically like going to the dentist. Going every once in a while is great and really gets em shinny, but you wouldnt need to go everyday, thats what a toothbrush is for ( i cant believe i just used that analogy haha)
Key to my analogy (SIP)= Dentist
(Nano) = toothbrush

Re: Porter cable 7424
isn't it bad to use nano on ur car every time you wash? wouldn't it be better if you use po85?
p.s. i hope you dont wash your car twice a day

Re: Porter cable 7424
Well that was just if the marks were especially bad after washing. I dont do it after every wash however. That just happened to be a momentary occurance. It worked well though surprisingly. PO85 would be a great choice in that case.
Hahahha as much as I'm tempted too, i hold back lol

I will take a long time before you ruin your clearcoat on your vehicle, probably long after you get rid of the car before it even would show any signs of wear.

I figure once youve removed the clearcoat, its time to trade her in on a new one anyways. Should get several years with normal polishing.
