    Using the PC with Pinnacle

Hey guys. I placed my first order today. I ordered the PC7424, Pinnacle's Intermediate Swirl Remover kit, a Flex backing plate, and a bottle each of Pinnacle pad conditioner and cleaner. I watched Pinnacle's video on how to apply and stuff. I have everything they showed except for their Souveran wax. When my mom bought her Porsche, it looked so good when they delivered it, that I asked the detail man if I could get a bottle of the wax they used. He gave me a small bottle of DuPont Paint Protector...the number on the bottle is P022. I've used this on my car, but it was wash, then apply this. The car felt smooth and the water beat up really well. My question is would I be able to use this wax in place of the Souveran wax?

sounds like a paint sealant and could be used versus Souveran. You could also top the Dupont product with Souveran after allowing it to cure for several hours.

Ok. I don't have and of the Souveran yet. I'll be sure to post some before and after pictures. I think once I have the money to spend (poor college kid here haha) on wax, I'm going to get Menzerna Powergloss, SIP, Super Finish "Nano", and Sealing Wax.

SIP / Nano / Souveran is all you need for a perfect and well regarded finish. Maybe adding some Souveran Spray for between waxings.

Yeah...from what I've read on here, I can tell that Menzerna is by far the best. You guys seem to highly recommend that stuff. My dad and I are going to use the Pinnacle on his Vette. I remember reading that Vettes have a hard CC...I'll probably have to make two passes instead of one during each step.
