Black Label product line prep ?
Hi,
I'm going to give Pinnacle's BL coating a try. But I need a slight correction before
applying the coating. What polish, Pinnacle or otherwise, should I use for the correction
step?
TIA!

How slight is the correction needed? Do you have a machine?

I haven't used the PBL paint prep, but that may give you some correction with the machine.
I'm a big fan of the Optimum polishes for coating prep, you should be able to go directly to the coating after. Otherwise you can simply use one of the Pinnacle polishes and follow with the PBL coating prep products. I'd say the Pinnacle Advanced Swirl Remover.
Disclaimer: I haven't used any of the Pinnacle products mentioned above.

I've used the paint prep, zero correction, it's most definitely to just prepare and clean the paint.
This is the Paint Cleaner and Sealant Combo about a year ago on my GC with no LSP on top, INSANE SHINE!!!
April will be my three year anniversary of owning the GC and in that time I've tried numerous combos on it. Hard to describe them all, but this combo was at the top for shine and reflectivity.

I thought he might get something from the pad (depending on the pad). Since the vehicle is 2 years old he'd better use something with some cut.

Yeah for sure. I did a quick light correcting polish with Menz 4500 before hand if I remember correctly, and I mean quick, less than 90-120 minutes.

Custmsprty, your photo depresses me. The reflection in the shine of the Palm trees and sun is breath taking. Up here in NY, we have leafless trees, dirty snow piles, and rain.
I think I need more than just paint correction, I need location correction!!!
