Hi! Liquid Souveran vs XMT 360 question.

Hi! My name is Miguel and I'm new to the forums. Not new to ordering from the store. As far as that goes, I'm a very satisfied customer.
    : )

So it's starting to get cooler here in Michigan, and I'll be preparing my new car for the colder winter soon. My question is: I have both pinnacle's liquid souveran and a bed bottle of XMT 360 and I was curious as to which would be better suited for some protection against the coming winter and salt season. I've used the pinnacle a few times and I love it. I have not yet tried the 360, although, I see its a sealer as well. Any thoughts on which would offer better coverage for the coming of winter? Winter here sucks, so it may see a drive through car wash or two. Yeah, I hate to do it, but it sure gets cold some days.
    Thanks!

For maximum protection and shine I would recommend using BOTH. Here's why...

Pinnacle XMT 360 is an AIO (all in one). This product corrects (light swirl marks, oxidation), cleans (embedded dirt) and seals (protects the paint) in one step.

Pinnacle Liquid Souveran is a finishing wax - it doesn't contain any cleaners or abrasives. This product is formulated using carnauba wax and synthetic crystalline polymers.

Applying them BOTH enables you to take advantage of XMT 360's cleaning ability, and Liquid Souveran's long-lasting paint protection and increased levels of gloss. Simply put, the cleaner the paint, the better Liquid Souveran will bond, thus increasing shine, slickness, and longevity.

Cool! Thank you nick, I appreciate the help. Oh, I guess I'd have just one more question, since the XMT 360 is a cleaner as well, is there any need to clay bar the car or will the XMT basically do that?

    Clay the car first.

XMT 360 will remove embedded dirt and contaminants - the type that is below the surface.

A clay bar removes above-surface bonded contaminants - paint overspray, rail dust, etc.

    Use a clay bar first.

Re: Hi! Liquid Souveran vs XMT 360 question.

I forward the above recommendations, done this before, you'll not regret.

Wash, clay, and work XMT360. If you have time, I recommend you to wait few hours after last XMT360 buffing / wipe-off (it doesn't need at all, but it's good practice to do it) to apply the wax.

If you can / have time, I'd still apply a second layer of the wax the following day.

I have no scientific evidence of layering wax, also the wait / cure time I'm recommending you to wait is 'empirical', but the results will speak for themselves.

Hope that gives you some ideas to think about,

    Kind Regards.
