    Black label glass coating question?

Anything special needed to prepare the glass for this coating? I'm thinking about testing a windshield with fly by 30 and pbl glass coating. Can I do the fly by 30 prep then coat?

Re: Black label glass coating question?

Anything that will make the glass clean, contaminant free and perfect in preparation for the coating will be good, regardless of the manufacturer.

I would say wash, clay, polish, IPA would be a great way to assure perfection. Polish would require some cerium oxide product (like CarPro) and the pads that go along with it ...BUT.... polishing is not necessary! Just make sure to have the glass as perfect as you can (or want to make it) and make sure to have it contaminant and cross-contamination free to provide the best substrate for the coating to adhere.

On a side note, make sure you have a stretch of time where the temp will be above 60 degrees to allow proper flashing of the product
