Pinnacle and red
Is it just me or does Pinnacle stuff turn red cars orange? I've used two Pinnacle products in the past six months, XMT 180 and Souveran Liquid Spray Wax, and I swear my car went from tornado red to tomato red.

I've never noticed any actual "color-changing" from using Pinnacle products on "REDS". I do not doubt it when you say you do, but, if I may ask, what RGB color-wheel, chart, or gradient scale are you using to determine this hue/color-changing effect?
{Maybe it could be better summed up by just surmizing/implying that sometimes this color-changing effect could be: 'in the eye of the beholder' ?}
Note: Tomato Red. To describe tomatoes as red, to me, means colors ranging from pink to orange and everything in between!

Re: Pinnacle and red
I do not know much about tornado red paint, but is it possible it has some sort of pearlescent effect to it that with the wax you are noticing more?
Just a theory.

Re: Pinnacle and red
Is it solid red? Haven't tried this with pinnacle, but tried one LSP with similiar characteristic as Souveran and it did change it a bit orange.ish... Maybe it's the yellow carnauba? red+yellow=orange. That's probably the most logical explanation i can think of

I noticed after using the liquid pinnacle souv on my black car it created a hue that required me to wipe the car 12 hrs later to bring it back to its original black, so maybe its the same effect with red. Once I re-wiped the car with a couple of MF towles it was flawless. I actual read that somewhere in the Pinnacle section, so re-wipe it.

A little twilight zone ish but i thought i would share
I have heard that the sun is going through some changes
The sun is increasing in frequency
Low or slower frequency show the color red better than high frequency.
that is what i heard crazy as it sounds ..

Re: Pinnacle and red
The one wax I remember made a color change was NXT ... never noted any from Pinnacle Souveran Paste or Liquid.

Irregardless of the sun's occurring changes (solar flares) or any depletion of the ozone layer around the Earth, the colors called, or seen as a red, only occur when there is a wavelength frequency generally between 400-484 THZ, or 620-750nm. So, what are the values (frequencies) of Tornado Red and Tomato Red in order to satisfy/address the OP's concern? Just curious.
Still seems like an RGB color chart/wheel/gradient scale would be of benefit.
