Remove Pinnacle Black Label Wheel Coating?
Is there a way to remove PBL Wheel Coating other than letting it wear off?
I had good results with it on a previous car, but it isn't working well on Porsche satin black forged wheels. (i.e. it doesn't seem to make it any easier to clean off the accumulated brake dust, which is still adhering to the wheels with a passion.)
It may be that these wheels have a matte finish, and PBL Wheel Coating was intended for gloss clear coat, I'm not sure.
But is there anything that will remove it so I can try something else?
Many thanks.

Any abrasive polish should remove it.

Yes, you will need to polish it off. Any medium or light polish should do the trick.

Re: Remove Pinnacle Black Label Wheel Coating?
After doing some more research, it seems that if you run a polisher over a matte/satin finish, it stops being a matte/satin finish.
That is, the properties of the finish that refract rather than reflect light get abraded down.
So machine polishing doesn't seem to be the answer for these satin-finish wheels. And I don't think hand polishing will remove the coating.
Still open for suggestions. . .

An AIO with maybe a magic eraser?
