Breaking in the new Show Car Garage - 1932 Deuce Roadster!

Breaking in the new Show Car Garage - 1932 Deuce Roadster!

Last night was our first Thursday Night Detail Class in the new Show Car Garage and it was killer!

First up... we buffed out this beautiful 1932 Deuce Roadster! I had machine compounded and polished the horizontal panels the previous Tuesday night live at the local car show but did not buff out the vertical panels.

Last night Robert DiTerrlizzi, Detail Dave and myself finished her out using Pinnacle compounds, polishes and waxes with the Flex 3401, Porter Cables and the 3" Griot's Garage Polisher which I used to machine sand the hood.

The paint was topped off with Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Wax for a deep, wet shine. This car is owned by Eddie Yoder who also builds custom high horsepower Ford Flathead Engines.

    Check this out....

Last night we also knocked out Sam's beautiful 1956 Chevy Bel Air to prep it for the upcoming 23rd Annual Eckler's Classic Chevy Winter National Convention.

You can check the pictures out for this show car prep here,

Both cars were compounded, polished and sealed using the Pinnacle brand of compounds, polishes, waxes and coatings.

Thanks Rich, I appreciate you taking the time to reply to the thread.

I have pictures showing all the steps performed to get the paint to look this way if there's any interest. Including machine sanding the hood.

Mike, I never miss any of your comments or pictures. I enjoy them so much that I look at them over and over.

The cars look great and I'm sure others would like to see the pictures and comments as much as I would.

Maybe Yancy could do a video in the new Show Car Garage sometime soon. That would be really enjoyable also. We never get too old to learn about all of the latest products and machines.

You have contact with manufacturers and reps and we need you to pass along, to us, all of the inside information that we will never get to learn unless you tell us about it.

Thanks again for all of your hard work and letting all of us, car nuts, in on all of the latest information and products.
