I had a great time with the rest of the folks who participated and got some great pointers from Antti and a couple of the other more experienced folks. I really enjoyed using the Cyclo DA buffer. Another great Thursday night makeover. Enjoyed very much sharing what I have learned over past few years with others.
The Cyclo was my first polisher I picked up three years ago. Still use it today.

When the owner came to pick up his 1938 Plymouth Streetrod the next day we were in luck as the sun was shining direct overhead so I was able to get the Sun Shots!























That's the way it's done...

I really enjoyed following this thread. First, what a surprise when I saw your choice of tools, of course, a good surprise because I appreciate Cyclo that much. I always put one in cart when I see it in action, very interesting and yet effective (results are just Perfect).

I keep wondering myself with two 4" pads (my favorite hobby is polishing using 4" pads... imagine two at once!). Thanks for coming up with Cyclo this time.

I like to spread the love around. I've known Cody, the owner and President of Cyclo Tools for years and he really builds an exceptionally high quality tool. It's been a while since we did a car project with the Cyclo so it was time.

What impressed me more in all of this work was the group cooperation. You are awesome. Everyone looks concentrated, working hard, but at most enjoying a lot what they were doing. Surely it was a very nice meeting.

I've been doing these types of projects all my life now and the one thing I notice is that we always attract high caliber people. No slackers or trouble makers but people that will treat these projects as they they were their own.

The results presented clearly shows the sum of efforts, the car looks polished 17-20 times to perfection (the number of people involved) instead of a one night paint polishing approach. You all did it!

It goes pretty fast when you have 8 Cyclos all buffing at the same time.

It was a great night for all. Most of us that have done these makeovers many times before didnt have to do much but guide the newbies.

John said to me where once we were being trained now we are the trainers.

True Tim, it seems to be a great time for everyone and you can always learn something new

And just to note... I really appreciate you guys and all the regular crew helping others to learn the art and craft of polishing paint...

I always remind myself that we all started out in the same place and that's knowing nothing...

Having someone with experience show you the "how-to" part first hand really goes a long way towards flattening out the learning curve...

I learned about "Tiger Stripes" last night from Mike.
