Do you recommend taping off where two panels come together? Like the hood side panel and a door panel. Basically keeping product out of the gap between the two panels.

Quick question for Mike, he's telling Al he has too much product on his pad, I sometimes get the "volcano" effect he talked about earlier, so if I get too much product on a pad, is it ok to go ahead with the area I'm working, or should I take some product off the pad?
