Re: Boats are here for Boat Detailing Class at Autogeek!
Sad....
Out of the 24 people that took this class only a couple posted their feedback.

This class looks so awesome! When I take this class in February, I’ll be that annoying student asking you everything AND posting about it! I’m excited for the 2 day Roadshow Class at LC in August first!

Teaching classes has taught me patience. I never get annoyed by questions in fact I turn them into "teaching moments" for the entire class.

Thanks Mike! I’m hungry for information and cannot wait! I’ve read “How to detail boats with Marine 31” several times already! Looking forward to the hands on training!

I was especially interested in the posts about the mildew removal from the upholstery. Does Flex or Griot's make a cordless tool that can be used with the Marine 31 Mildew Remover? When I do mildew removal on my boat it is still sitting in the water and I do not have electrical power available. Mildew removal is the biggest PITA when detailing my boat! It takes hours doing it by hand, and that is with a bleach heavy product like Star Brite.
Edit: I see that there will be some Flex cordless tools available for the Indy Roadshow Class! I definitely have to try those out though they may be overkill for boat interior work.

Here's a universal brush with velcro on the back that can be attached to any velcro backing plate on any tool.
My guess is this brush will work well with the FLEX Cordless Rotary Polisher and will probably work with the FLEX Cordless 15mm orbital polisher when machine scrubbing a flat surface like vinyl. I don't think the FLEX Cordless XFE 7 will work with the brush to clean fiber surfaces as the brush bristles will grab to strongly to the fibers and my guess is stall the rotation and orbit action.

Yes, we will have at a minimum, my personal FLEX cordless tools, the ones give to me by FLEX at 2017 SEMA.

Hey Mike, I didn't find any brushes in the store based on a few searches for velcro brush, etc. Happen to have a link to the product you were describing? I found the brushes that screw into the Porter Cable model, but was hoping for a hook & loop fastener type of brush for my Flex. If not, no worries.
Thanks!
